Cucumonga is the design studio of Jay Sienkwicz – NYC based art director, motion designer, animator and compositor. He is able to work independently or as part of a team to take projects from their initial concept to final product delivery. Jay is a highly motivated designer who can confidently work in all areas of graphic design. He is a problem solver who can seamlessly switch from art director to animator applying his vast knowledge and expertise from traditional cell animation to motion graphics and print, compositing, interactive design, typography, client pitches and presentations, conceptual design and creative management.

Currently a faculty member in the BFA Design program at his alma matter The School of Visual Arts, Jay recently held the position of design director at Tanq. He’s also worked as the design director at Nice Shoes, it’s sister company Guava, and spent nearly five years as design director at Quiet Man.

Available for collaborations or stand alone projects from commercials, visual effects, branding, post production, broadcast design, movie titles and graphic animations for all corporate medium.

Clients included GE, Pepsi, Time Warner Cable, MTV, Frito-Lay Brands, Food Network, American Express, Olay, Crestor, Amica, Pfizer, US Open, Gillette, Kohls, Boards Magazine, Nickelodeon, ABC and Glass Eye Pix Films.
